Websites of the week April 11

A backlog of website articles will mean I'll be positively prolific over the next week or so.

www.seussville.com

“If you never did, you should. These things are fun, and fun is good.”

This is the place to go for anyone who is interested in Dr. Seuss! An information packed website that contains a detailed biography and bibliography, and dozens of interactive games with a Seuss theme. It is easily navigated by children, but does have links to pages where you can purchase Dr. Seuss material.

www.booksshouldbefree.com

This website is full of audio books that are free to download. It contains classic titles such as The Wizard of Oz, Heidi and Pinocchio. This could give an alternative way for children (and parents) to spend their time on the drive to school, or even on a spring break plane ride. There is a large children’s section, but the site also many books for adults.
